GEOMAGNETIC EFFECT DURING THE EARTHQUAKE OF HUANGHAI, NEAR JIANGSU PROVINCE

  • 摘要: 继取得1979年7月9日江苏溧阳6.0级地震磁异常之后,1984年5月21日在江苏黄海勿南沙Ms6.2地震前,在距震中70公里的东台县弶港,110公里的海安和130公里的射阳地磁台又观测到震前垂直分量的磁异常.其中弶港、海安为正异常,射阳为负异常.本文根据祁贵仲的膨胀磁效应模式,粗略地进行了计算,结果基本一致.本文认为,在低纬度地区用较密集的垂直分量台网来捕捉地震磁异常有可能改善地磁方法预报地震的效果.

     

    Abstract: With the Geomagnetic anomlies before the Ms=6.0 earthquake of Liyaing, Jiangsu Province observed, the geomagnetic anomalies of the vertical component before the Hu-anghai earthquake (Ms=6.2), near Jiangsu were also observed at the Jianggang, Haian, and Sheyang geoxnag netic stations which are about 70 km, 110 km, and 130 km respectively from the epicentral area. The Jianggang and Haian anomelies are positive, while that at Sheyang is negative. Arough computation has been made in terms of the Dilatancy-magnetic effect suggested by Qi Guizhong with result in accordance with observation.In this paper, it is suggested that a dense network for observation of the geomagnetic vertical component may catch gemagnetic anomalies associated with earthquakes, and improve the effectiveness of earthquake prediction by geomagnetic observation.
