华县大震等烈度线形状的实验研究

AN EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF THE SHAPE OF ISOSEIS- MAL LINES OF THE HUAXIAN GREAT EARTHQUAKE OF 1556

  • 摘要: 用二维超声波模型地震学的方法,从介质内部研究了1556年华县8级大震.结果表明,震源上方第四纪和第三纪介质特殊的分层结构及其对波的放大和汇聚作用、秦岭北侧大断裂的侧壁反射及此断层的特殊的破裂方式,可能是造成此次大震等烈度线呈新月形分布的原因.

     

    Abstract: Using the method of model seismology, the Huaxian great earthquake which occurred in 1556 is studied. The results show that the intensity distribution of the earthquake has the shape of a new moon because of the special layer structures of the media of the Tertiary Period and the Quaternary Period overlying the source region and the effect of convergence and amplification on seismic waves, the wave reflection on the fault plane of the great fault on the north side of the Qinling Mountains and the special fracture styles of the fault.
