Abstract: This paper starts with an analysis of the cause of annual variation of earth-resistivity recorded at the Lin Yi, Shandong Province, earth-resistivity station. Then, the experiment for elimination of surface disturbances in earth-resistivity measurement by lowering the electrodes in shallow drill holes is described and the results compared with that observed on surface.
