THE SEASONAL VARIATIONS OF Sq(H) AT THE GEOMAGNETIC OBSERVATORY-CHAIN IN EASTERN CHINA

  • 摘要: 本文利用中国东部沿120E经度线附近纬度均匀分布的十个地磁台站地磁静日变化水平分量的资料和主分量分析法,给出了详尽的Sq(H)季节变化随纬度分布的剖面及Sq电离层等效电流体系视焦点纬度.分析表明,Sq(H)中2的变化,主要由于电离层中等效电流体系对称轴偏离地磁轴引起的.
    Abstract: A detailed north-south section around the meridian at 120E of seasonal variation of Sq(H) for quiet days are presented using the data of ten geomagnetic observatories with nearly equal separation in latitudes between stations in eastern China,with the method of main component analysis. The apparent focus latitude of the equivalent current system in the ionosphere is presented. It is shown that the variation of 2 for Sq(H) is resulted from the deviation of the axis of symmetry of the equivalent current system from the geomagnetic axis.
