地震前断层蠕动与地温异常的探讨
A STUDY ON PRESEISMIC FAULT CREEP AND GROUND TEMPRATURE ANOMALY

摘要: 本文利用震前断层蠕动模型(不考虑水的作用),对唐山地震前出现的地温异常做了探讨,提出地温异常的一个可能原因是震前断层的加速蠕动.经过反复调试,一个较好的模拟结果是:由加速蠕动产生的唐山相对玉田的表层温度累计变化是2.5℃,此值与观测数据相同,震前加速蠕动的最大速率是12.1cm/d.结果表明,有可能利用地温变化研究断层的震前加速蠕动和地震预报.Abstract: A preseismic fault creep model (without considering the effect of underground water) is applied to study the observed ground temperature anomaly before the Tangshan earthquake. We suggest that a possible cause of the anomaly is the accelerating creep of the fault. After many trial computations, the more reasonable result obtained is:displacement rate caused by the preseismic fault creep is 12.1 cm/day, while the accumulated maximum difference of ground temperature between Tangshan and Yutian reaches the observed value of 2.5℃. Our investigation shows that it is possible to apply temperature anomaly in the study of preseismic creep and earthquake prediction.
