唐山地震余震的震源参数及地壳介质的品质因数

SOURCE PARAMETERS OF THE AFTERSHOCKS AND THE QUALITY FACTOR OF THE CRUSTAL MEDIUM UNDER THE TANGSHAN AREA

  • 摘要: 由P波初动半周期和初动振幅测定了唐山地震余震区小地震的震源参数和介质的品质因数Q。唐山、丰南附近,应力降较低,约2巴。从这两地向东北、西南应力降逐渐增高到34巴。讨论了余震的发生与Q值分布的关系。
    Abstract: The source parameters of aftershocks and the Q values of the crustal medium under the Tangshan aftershock area are estimated from respectively the half cycles and amplitudes of the first P arrivals of Tangshan aftershocks. The results obtained indicate that the stress drop gradually increases with distance from 2 bars at Tangshan and vicinity toward the northeast and southwest to a maximum of 34 bars. A tentative explanation has been proposed for the relation between the occurrence of the aftershocks and the distribution of quality factors of crustal medium.
