ON THE ERROR SOURCES GENERATING SPECIAL ANOMALIES IN TILT TIDE OBSERVATIONS

  • 摘要: 在潮汐倾斜的实际观测中,较普遍地出现大的相位差和南北分量的明显异常,以及同一测站不同仪器的观测结果之间的明显差别.这些现象不能用热效应和海潮的间接影响来解释,本文对其可能原因作了理论上的分析,最后得出:由于大多数潮汐倾斜测站处于中纬度地带,南北分量相对地幅度较小、空腔效应和摆杆定向不准均可能导至上述异常.
    Abstract: In practical tilt tidal observation, it is genera case that a large phase difference and sensible anomaly of the North-South commponent and considerable discrepancy between observations carried out with different instruments at the same station be experienced. These evidently cannot be explained by thermal or oceanic indirect effects. In this paper, after theoretical study of every probable cause, a conclusion has been drawn as follows. Because most tidal tilt stations are located in the middle latitudes, the error of azimuth of the pendulum beam, cavity effect and the smaller amplitude of the North-South component might be the main soures leading to the above anomalies.
