Abstract:
In recent years, with an increase in seismic stations worldwide, the progress in data processing, modeling, and interpretation has provided favorable conditions for studying dynamic changes of landslide underground media. Therefore, the use of landslide seismic signals to study landslide characteristics has gradually become one of the important tools in landslide monitoring. This paper focuses on passive seismic methods' technique and practical application in landslide signal analysis and process monitoring. Many case studies presented in this paper show that, under appropriate conditions, seismic signals generated by landslides can be used to economically and effectively monitor the landslide process and even identify the precursor signals of landslide disasters, providing support for landslide disaster warnings. In the future, a multi-parameter geophysical monitoring system combined with other geophysical or remote sensing methods will significantly reduce the casualties and economic losses caused by landslides.
