  • In view of the vibration error introduced by the measurement of self-developed high-precision absolute gravimeter prototype, this paper presents a new vibration suppression algorithm. The algorithm uses time information of the intersection of a set of parallel lines with the same slope and the vibration curves of reference prism recorded to determine the time displacement coordinates of gravitational acceleration calculations on the falling trajectory. Using the least square method, the absolute gravity value was obtained based on these coordinates. Analysis on the algorithmrsquo;s applicability to different gravity values and the suppression for different interference noises show that this algorithm can effectively improve system deviation and accuracy of the measurement for the interference with dominant frequency greater than 0.2 Hz and peak-to-peak values less than 500 counts. Finally, the result from actual experimental data shows that the algorithm has doubled the measurement accuracy and can provide software support for miniaturization and mobile measuring of absolute gravimeters.
