Acta Seismologica Sinica is a comprehensive academic journal on seismology, governed by the China Association for Science and Technology, and jointly sponsored by the Seismological Society of China and the Institute of Geophysics of the China Earthquake Administration. It is published by the Editorial Office of Acta Seismologica Sinica. The journal was founded in 1979 as a quarterly publication and transitioned to a bimonthly publication in 1997. The honorary Editor-in-Chief is Academician Chen Yun-tai, and the current Editor-in-Chief is Researcher Ding Zhi-feng. The CN Serial Number is CN 11-2021/P, and the international standard serial number is ISSN 0253-3782.

Acta Seismologica Sinica primarily publishes innovative research findings and technological achievements in seismology.
