  • The ways of migration of great earthquakes (M63/4 ), called jumping migration on the North-South seismic belt of China are preliminary studied in this paper, and their statistical prediction equations are given. As instances, the predictions of time of occurrence and latitude of earthquakes of M7 in the Sichuan Province and also the latitude of a specified area of the nouthern portion of the belt have been dealt with.
