AN EXPERIMENTAL SYSTEM FOR ROCK TRIAXIAL CREEP AT HIGH T AND HIGH P (WITH SOLID MEDIUM FOR CONFINING PRESSURE)

  • A new experimental system for rock triaxial creep at high temperature and high pressure is introduced and its operational procedure,reliability,accuracy and characteristics are analysed. It is suggested that this new system will be favourable for studying the essence of mechanical properties of rock,and creep procedure in geodynamics and help us to take some more factors into account in the study of deformation of the earths crust.
